25nl Goal completed

This month in summary

Alright with a title like this its gunna be a lengthy post, firstly I did meet my goal, and I'm very pleased of course, I just feel like I smashed it - I only played 6k hands and managed this.

update 29 september* after 6751 hands I spun it up to $443

Unfortuantley holdem manger is screwed at the moment so will show you a poker officer graph its not as nice in detail but meh u can see my swings at least:

However Once again I could've done alot better with my blogging but alot of work in my job really affected alot of things alot good some bad.

The Bad:
*I couldnt play as much poker and hands as I would have liked to I only managed 6k hands this month which is just riddiclously small and I could've made alot more I rekon.

The Good:

*I started to read and almost finished a book called 'The Poker Mindset' when I was to tired to play poker after work and during my lunch breaks. I rarely give advice or anything in this blog because I feel I'm in no position to playing the stakes I play, however I HIGHLY recommend you get this book whatever limit you play. It made me realise I looked at the entire picture of playing poker just wrong, I wouldnt say its totally sorted my tilting issues thats a never ending process but it helped me realise my tilting triggers and methods to avoid it I think, but its made me accept pokers realities alot better and just how to keep a healthy poker mind and keeping it all in prespective. It made me see that when I was at 50nl I did think about alot of it in the wrong way, so when I move back up I feel alot better armed to deal with poker as a whole game winning and loosing. So definatley read this book it will sort out so many problems in your game.

Here is the cover

*I enjoyed playing poker alot more, everytime I played poker it never felt like a grind and I enjoyed every second of it, obviously having limited to to play due to work helped and also and since I'm wayyy over rolled for 25nl also I have zen like attitude to taking everything on and just making the best poker deccissions

*I relearnt very important concepts in poker that helped my winrate.

*I can play 5 tables now and follow everything since I'm used to pkr update v2.0 and my mind is more in tune playing more tables now it seems.

* I learnt when to leave a game and when to keep playing - something that was a huge problem for me.

So what to do now?

I'm not entirley sure, if you asked me at the beggining of the month I would've said soon as I make this goal I'm moving up! and that woulda been just an ego thing since I looked down on playing 25nl again.

I have a decent winrate at 50nl but I would like to have a slightly bigger money cushion I would like another 200 on top so I can have 4 buyins as an extra cushion on top, since the first week is always ruff moving up.

I think for the time being though I'm just going to dip my toe in the water with 50nl will play alittle see how it goes, I'm still going to play 25nl mind as well as 50nl in the future as well since one lesson I learnt this month is if the games juicy - play it, ego is the most idiotic thing in poker and if theres free money take it. For instance if for one night I feel 50nl is full of regs and its not really worth my time I'll sit with the easy money at 25nl.

so bottom line is I'm gunna grind another 200 and alternate between stakes.

This time being the name of Scott Shelly, a 24 year old customer service represenative who works for PKR won a staff tournament to the prestigious WSOP europe event held at London's Empire Casino. He entered the NL event #3 and he battled his way through a field of dreamers and professionals alike and reached the final table and finnaly heads up to face defending reigning WSOP champion JP Kelly with two wsop bracelets to his name and potentiol record breaker if he won this tournament, he would have broke Phil Iveys record as the youngest 3 time WSOP bracelet winner, as well as many other records. However with the odds stacked against him Scott showed remarkable Heads up skill attacking JP Kelly in to a corner, and finnaly finished him off winning himself the covereted WSOP bracelet and £133,857 in hard sterling!

Might not be posting as much as I have been soon

I don't usually bring up my personal life in my poker blog but for this one I will, since its going to effect my poker. I've been working pretty much constant overtime and will be working alot more around October through december, doing twilight shifts like 10pm till 6am and playing poker in any of my free time (free hours) , reason I'm doing this is because I gotta pay the bills! and pay for birthdays and Christmas while also investing in my course. So hopefully I can juggle everything but if I'm not posting to much soon I'm probably sleeping or playing poker instead lol and wont have to much time to blog although I will make an effort to.

hope this has been interesting and as always just a final video I found hillarious I rather think of this vid as the mind of the pkr fish.

Good Luck at the tables.
